September 29, 2006, Newsletter Issue #17: Other Uses For Candle Tarts

Tip of the Week

Candle tarts are good for more than just melting. Here are a few ideas for how to scent an area with those little candle tarts that doesn't require heat. • Use them as an air freshener in your car. Simply place a few small candle tarts in a small muslin or thin decorative bag and hang from the rear view mirror. The best part is you can mix and match scented tarts to create your own scents. Try using cinnamon and pear scented candle tarts or chocolate and strawberry tarts. • Place candle tarts in a dish to scent a favorite sitting area. Nothing would be more relaxing than curling up with a good book and smelling a sweet fragrance waft around you. • Fill a small sachet with Lavender scented candle tarts and place at the bottom of your pillow case. Lavender is known for it's relaxation properties and may help you fall asleep faster.
